Where can't people imagine life without the Internet?
Nowadays a life without the Internet seems hard to imagine, but it was just 50 years ago that the first message was sent on ARPANET, a network of academical computers that was the precursor to it.
This bar chart shows the result of research conducted by Ipsos regarding the attitude of people towards technology.
About 18,180 people were surveyed across 23 countries, with more than two-thirds of them saying they could not imagine a life disconnected from the Web. The highest share was recorded in India, where 82 percent of interviewers answered they could not live without the Internet.
