Time taken to reach 1 million users

Newly published Twitter rival Threads is currently taking the internet by storm.

The Instagram companion app, which allows users to keep text-focused conversations with close friends as well as internet acquaintances and even celebrities, reached 10 million users in just 7 hours, according to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Based on his other comments, we can assume that the first million users was reached in roughly one hour. But how does this compare to other social media platforms and internet giants?
