How strongly do you feel connected to Europe?
The majority of the post-reunification generation feels with Europe connected. 38% of West and East Germans feel a “rather strong” connection. At 24 percent, almost one in four West Germans even feels “very strongly” connected to Europe.
Most of the respondents, all of whom were born after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, see the EU primarily as an essential peace and economic project.
