A quick guide to meditation
Meditation is very talked-about these days, but do you even know how it works? It is not about getting your head to go blank or about controlling your thoughts; it’s actually an exercise for the mind that aims at making us aware of its present state and to be able to engage with what is happening at the moment. You don’t need to be an expert to try it, and it doesn’t matter if your mind wanders off in the middle of it, that’s even part of the process! The trick is merely to be consistent, and at your own time, you will start seeing its benefits. You will ideally stop judging yourself and start understanding more.
