Chart Vizzard
Vizzlo's AI-based chart generatorPrivacy by default: Why we're making every chart private (yes, even free ones)
We’re excited to announce a significant improvement to how document privacy works on Vizzlo. Based on your feedback and our commitment to creating a more intuitive user experience, we’re making all new documents private by default—for both free and paid accounts.

What’s changing
Starting today, when you create a new chart on Vizzlo, it will automatically be set to private, regardless of whether you’re using a free or paid plan. This means:
- All new documents are private by default - Only you can access your charts unless you explicitly choose to share them
- Free account users can now create fully private documents - No more confusion about public vs. private settings
- Existing documents remain unchanged - Your current charts will keep their existing privacy settings
- You’re still in control - You can choose to make documents public whenever you want
Why we made this change
We heard from many of you that our previous privacy model was confusing. While most Vizzlo charts are embedded directly into PowerPoint or Google Slides (where the host document’s privacy settings determine visibility), the distinction between public and private for cloud-stored charts wasn’t always clear.
Our previous approach required free accounts to create public documents when storing charts directly on vizzlo.com. However, these documents were never indexed by search engines, and the main difference to non-public documents was simply that a direct link was enough to view them. This led to unnecessary confusion about what “public” actually meant in practice.
What this means for you
For Free account users:
- You can now create private documents just like paid users
- Your workflow remains exactly the same—just with better privacy by default
- All your existing documents keep their current settings
For paid account users:
- No changes to your existing features or capabilities
- The same privacy controls you’re used to
For everyone:
- A clearer, more intuitive privacy model
- Less confusion about document visibility
- The same great charting experience you love
Embedded charts unchanged
Most Vizzlo charts are embedded directly into presentations and documents, where this change doesn’t apply. When you embed a Vizzlo chart into PowerPoint, Google Slides, or other platforms, the privacy and sharing settings of your presentation determine who can see your chart—just as they always have.
